My first kick is going to start. The Kick-off meeting of the CELISE project will be on Tuesday 23rd November 2021.

Who is going to manage my kick?

The University of Cantabria, more specifically the Green Engineering and Resources (GER) research group together with the European and International Project Office of the University of Cantabria, as coordinators of the project, is organising my Kick-off meeting. This will be for me an opportunity for an update on my main objectives, the drawing up of a joint venture, and the launching of initial actions.

What is my goal?

My main aim is the study of sustainable production of cellulose-based products and additives to be used in SMEs and rural areas. Furthermore, I can survive because I have received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. The name of the specific call is Marie Sklodowska-Curie and my grant agreement is No 101007733.

I will create a multinational partnership between European research and innovation institutions, industry, and researcher teams in third countries. My aim is related to the exchange of knowledge and experience concerning cellulose-based materials using biomass residues processing. I will work especially for small and medium enterprises and rural areas from Europe and Latin- America.

I have a structure composed of five work packages are based on research and training and the last ones are related to the management, transfer, and impact. Figure 1 shows my main tasks during my life as a project.
